As the British spring tidies itself up between the last frosts and the first proper beer-garden afternoons, we have been doing much the same with Helm: polishing, refining and adding a few clever flourishes to keep your operations humming along nicely.
Every adjustment here is in service of one thing: making life smoother, simpler and more profitable for you and your teams, whether you are in a Yorkshire warehouse or a glass tower in the City.

We have refined how your collection paperwork is managed. Instead of a single default tucked away in Settings, you can now configure your collection sheets from the more advanced Print Templates page. This gives your operations teams the freedom to tailor collection documents to different carriers, clients or compliance requirements, without feeling like they have to wrestle the system into submission.
User Management has also had a behind-the-scenes polish. We have strengthened how records are handled in the database when users are removed, particularly where those users are linked across multiple tables. The result is cleaner data, smoother administration and fewer worries when you are keeping your user list lean and audit-ready.
For customers who live and breathe integrations, Shipment Webhooks have become more talkative and more useful. The shipment.created and shipment.cancelled webhooks now include full order data alongside inventory details, giving your downstream systems everything they need in one well-organised payload. This helps keep finance, analytics and third-party tools aligned, without anyone needing to gather information together by hand.

Before an order reaches the terminal, we now perform a pre-dispatch allocation check whenever stock control is enabled. When you click the βDespatch Orderβ button on the Order Details page, Helm quietly verifies allocations before redirecting you to the terminal. This reduces the need to hop back and forth to reallocate items, so your team can keep parcels moving instead of playing warehouse pinball.
Your Sales Figures have also become more discreet and more configurable. You can now set a minimum user level for dashboard sales visibility or switch it off entirely in General Settings: Misc. This gives you elegant control over who can see commercial performance: ideal for maintaining confidentiality in larger teams, and for keeping sensitive numbers away from wandering eyes on shared screens.

In Terminal Sorting, completed work is now cleared away automatically. Finished picks are removed from containers without the need to return to the terminal simply to tidy up. When you dispatch an order on the packing terminal that originated from Terminal Sorting, a clear visual indicator now prompts you to scan the next item into the Terminal Sorting Plugin. The effect is a calm, continuous rhythm on the shop floor, cutting down on hesitation and keeping the line moving as smoothly as a well-brewed Yorkshire tea.
Multi PickPack Terminal has gained several quality-of-life improvements for busy teams handling long pick lists. Inventory is now ordered by location priority, making it much easier to work through large runs in a logical path, rather than wandering the warehouse on an impromptu step-count challenge. Session information now includes total quantity and total inventory counts, helping supervisors and operators alike to understand workload at a glance and to keep the shift on track.
To round things off, we have introduced support for Silent Error Printing in the Terminal. When enabled in settings, the Terminal will prompt you to select a printer for error labels only when it is actually needed. This ensures that exceptions are still captured cleanly, without subjecting everyone to a chorus of pop-ups and dialogues each time something misbehaves.

Every refinement in this release is designed to save you clicks, prevent confusion and keep your teams confidently in control of their operations. From quieter, cleverer terminals to more informative webhooks and finely tuned access to commercial data, our aim is to let your warehouse run with the easy assurance of a well-rehearsed orchestra: precise, reliable and just a little bit impressive to watch.
As ever, we build and polish Helm with you in mind; your feedback keeps us improving and your success is the reason we keep reaching for the next, better version.
