As early summer settles in, Helm has been turning its attention to the quieter machinery of fulfilment: the moments where orders flow between you and your clients, where files need to attach cleanly, and where a new fulfilment client should arrive fully set up and ready to work. This release sharpens those everyday interactions, with smarter batch processing, more dependable client onboarding and a handful of thoughtful refinements that simply make the day run more cleanly.

Requested Packaging now works hand in hand with the Batch Terminal. You can define your preferred packaging for orders and have it selected automatically as batches are processed, so the right packaging follows the order through without anyone needing to choose it again.
The Batch Terminal now also supports Single Parcel per Item logic, giving you finer control over how items are split across parcels during batch processing. Where each item needs its own parcel, the terminal handles it for you, keeping batch despatch moving at a steady, confident rhythm.
We have also introduced a new status setting, Allow Fulfilment Client Cancel, which controls whether fulfilment clients are permitted to cancel orders while those orders sit in a particular status. This gives you precise control over exactly when a client can step in and cancel, keeping your order flow predictable and firmly in your hands.

Fulfilment clients can now attach files to submitted purchase orders exactly as intended, so supporting documents travel with the order rather than being left behind.
Creating Fulfilment Clients via the API is now a complete, reliable process. Essential setup steps that previously could be missed, including the creation of email templates and a manual channel, are now carried out properly every time, so each new client arrives fully configured and ready to operate. The Public API also now supports assigning locations to fulfilment clients, giving you more control over client setup straight from your integrations.

The Advanced HS Codes window now handles long lists gracefully, with selectors sitting exactly where they should even as the list grows. Working through detailed code lists stays clear and tidy.
Item descriptions now appear on Detailed Picking Note printouts as expected, giving pickers the full context they need on the page in front of them.
Purchase Order emails now send reliably even when a supplier's company name contains a comma. Whatever the supplier is called, the email reaches them as intended.

Every change in this release is designed to make fulfilment feel a little more effortless, from batch processing that selects the right packaging on its own to client onboarding that simply works. Thank you for trusting us with your operations; we will keep refining and polishing so that Helm continues to feel like a steady, dependable colleague.
