Release Notes v.3.6.0.232

High summer, and Helm has been hard at work below decks. This release carries one clear theme: trust — in where your stock goes, in what your labels say, and in the security of the platform itself. Alongside a set of thoughtful workflow refinements, this version delivers the most comprehensive security updates Helm has undertaken to date.

Horizontal rule

Packaging That Pulls Its Weight

Packaging assigned to orders — whether through Order Rules or manually — is now a first-class citizen across Helm.

The Multi Pick Pack Terminal now deducts stock from requested packaging products as orders are packed, however that packaging was assigned. Your packaging stock figures stay accurate without any separate adjustments, which means fewer surprises when the box supply runs lower than the system suggested.

The Pregenerated Labels Plugin has also learned to send the assigned packaging product's weight and dimensions with each shipment, so multi-box and international consignments are declared with the right parcel details from the start.

Horizontal rule

Replenishment That Respects Your Warehouse

For teams running replenishment from the Mobile App, the Replenishment Jobs screen now honours the warehouse you are logged into. Selecting a product shows only the stock locations that belong to your selected warehouse, so operatives are guided to shelves they can actually walk to.

The same intelligence is available in the app API: replenishment data can now be scoped to the selected warehouse, with locations in other warehouses omitted and products with no local stock filtered out. Cleaner lists, faster decisions, less scrolling.

Horizontal rule

A Sharper Public API Search

Inventory searches through the Public API now support OR searching across product name, SKU and all five barcode fields. Place a single pipe | between terms — for example inspired by | room mist — and the API returns products matching either term. One call, broader results, simpler integrations.

Everyday Refinements

The Helm login page has been tidied up, with promotional content for retired products removed — including for operations running the White Label Plugin. What greets your team each morning is now simply your system, presented cleanly.

Micro App generation has been made more accommodating of different server environments. Setup no longer depends on a strict OpenSSL version check and instead derives sensible defaults automatically, so getting a micro app running is smoother on a wider range of servers.

Horizontal rule

Every change in this release is about confidence: stock that allocates fairly, labels and weights you can take at face value, roles that fit the way your teams actually work, and a platform hardened from top to bottom. Thank you for trusting us with your operations — we build every release to keep your business moving beautifully.
