🕸 Release Notes v.3.6.0.151

A Tasteful Cauldron Of Productivity

The veil thins; our laboratories hum; and Helm: ever the courteous conjurer of operational elegance: unfurls a cavalcade of features and refinements designed to make your warehouses purr like well‑fed familiars.

We do not merely ship software; we orchestrate symphonies of stock, locations, orders and despatches, all conducted with baton‑sharp precision and a dash of theatrical sorcery.

For clients who value reliability and panache, consider this release our seasonal spellbook: efficiency distilled; confusion banished; delight summoned on cue.

The Grimoire of Gains:

Public API: Orders create_with_inventory

We have conjured a splendid endpoint under Public API: Orders; it permits the creation of an order together with its inventory lines in a single, elegant request. Postman collection: suitably enchanted.

Use Case: Faster order creation; more efficient rate‑limit utilisation; fewer incantations per transaction.

Warehouse Linking & Logged-Warehouse Scoping

We have refined the relationship between warehouse links and the “logged‑in warehouse” context; access and actions now observe clear boundaries and decorum:

  • Users not explicitly linked to any warehouse are courteously granted visibility across all warehouses.

  • When a user is logged into a specific warehouse, their powers are sensibly scoped to stock, locations, and kindred entities within that house.

  • Picks visible to a user are limited to the warehouse of their current session if their role is beneath supervisory eminence.

  • Purchase Orders may be raised for any warehouse; they remain serenely independent of the logged‑in context.

  • Stock Transfers: the source defaults to the user’s logged‑in warehouse; the destination may be any warehouse of choice.

Use Case: Clear security demarcations; predictable session behaviour; fewer spectral ambiguities.

MCF Behavior: Auto‑Create and Despatch for Unknown Orders

When a fulfilment request alights for an order not known to Helm, the system now courteously creates the order and marks it as despatched without disturbing inventory levels.

Use Case: External MCF flows complete with aplomb; inventory integrity remains immaculate.

Phantom Flourishes:

Email Delivery & Despatch Notifications

We have improved mail handling so your missives travel with polished punctuality:

  • Restored the “own credentials” option for Mailgun; bring your domain and bask in reputational splendour.

  • Despatch emails are now sensibly quieted for Amazon and eBay sales channels; fewer superfluous hoots in the night.

  • Sales Channel configuration now saves despatch email settings reliably; no more vanishing toggles.

Use Case: Customers with their own Mailgun accounts send from their domains; the platform can swiftly designate and switch the default system mailer during provider incidents.

Auto-Allocation Plugin - Dynamic Components

The allocation of dynamic components now proceeds with graceful inevitability; the plugin operates globally rather than being confined to a warehouse.

Use Case: Dynamic components receive automatic allocation alongside their more pedestrian brethren; harmony restored.

A Toast Beneath The Harvest Moon

As the pumpkins glow and the ledger balances, we raise a crystal chalice of midnight clarity to you: our intrepid patrons of order and inventory.

With each enhancement we transmute friction into flow; with each refinement we turn gremlins into tireless little helpers; with each integration we widen the corridor through which your commerce flies.

In the spirit of Halloween: may your picks be swift; your stock immaculate; your notifications impeccably mannered; and your operations so preternaturally smooth that even the house ghosts nod in professional approval.

Consider us your perennial coven of competence: always on call; always improving; always delighting the clients who entrust us with the beating heart of their fulfilment.
