Release Notes V3.6.0.218

The long days of early summer are good for tidying the details, and Helm has done exactly that. This release brings sharper accuracy to your numbers, a clearer view of returns, and a richer set of tools for managing assemblies and storage billing. Whether you are reconciling VAT, watching parcel counts on the dashboard or shaping how you bill for storage, the changes here are all about trustworthy figures and confident control.

Sharper, More Trustworthy Numbers

VAT and subtotal values on Purchase Order printouts are now calculated with full accuracy, based on the tax rates configured for your inventory items. Your printed purchase orders reflect the correct figures every time, so reconciliation stays straightforward and your records stay dependable.

The Warehouse Dashboard now reports parcel counts against the correct shipment dates. Because shipment records can be created ahead of their actual despatch date, for instance when working with pre-generated labels, counts now follow the date that truly matters rather than the day a record happened to be created. The result is a dashboard you can read at a glance and genuinely trust.

On the Purchase Order Edit page, submitting a delivery now registers cleanly the first time. A delivery can no longer be submitted more than once before the page refreshes, sparing your team duplicate entries and keeping your purchase order records tidy.

A Clearer View Of Returns

A new Returns page lets you view and manage returned items alongside their details, listed from the most recent through to the oldest. It gives your team a single, well-ordered place to see what has come back and to act on it, so handling returns feels organised rather than scattered.

A More Capable Public API

The Public API has gained a new set of endpoints for assembly management. You can now list, view, confirm, cancel and revert assembly operations directly through the API, opening the door to tighter automation and smoother integration of your assembly workflows with the systems you already rely on.

Horizontal rule

More Flexible Storage Billing

Storage Billing can now be configured to use Cubic Volume in place of recurring billing. This lets you bill clients according to the storage rates set in your Cost Center settings, so charges reflect the space genuinely used. It is a more precise, more equitable way to bill for storage that suits operations where footprint, not a flat recurring fee, tells the real story.

Every refinement in this release has been crafted to give you numbers you can trust, clearer visibility over your operations and more flexibility in how you run them. Thank you for trusting us with your logistics; we will keep polishing and improving so that Helm continues to feel like a steady, dependable colleague.
